8th Grade Science/Careers/GCMS Student Council
My name is Ms. Kassi Bird. I will be teaching 8th grade Science and Career Investigations this year. I am also the Student Council Advisor for GCMS. I graduated from Angelo State University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I taught and coached for 7 years before taking a break to go back to school to become a certified Radiographer for the Shannon Clinic where I am still employed. I returned to teaching in 2016 because of my love for teaching and the students I get to work with every day. This will be my 13th year teaching and my 5th year at Grape Creek. I am very excited and looking forward to the new school year!
